Application for Federal CARES Act and NSU COVID-19 Student Support Funds
Federal CARES Act Fund
Students who have incurred expenses as a direct result of a disruption in campus operations due to COVID-19; and
Students who are or were enrolled in the 2020 Winter semester/term; and
Students who have filed a 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or are eligible to file a 2019-2020 FAFSA; and
Students who were enrolled in at least one ground-based (face-to-face) course on or before March 13, 2020 (date of President Trump’s Proclamation of a National Emergency for the COVID-19 Outbreak).
NSU COVID-19 Student Support Fund
Students who are or were enrolled in the 2020 Winter semester/term including those in fully online programs; and
Students who are not eligible to file a 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Note: Students who have already submitted an NSU COVID-19 Student Support Fund Application must complete a new application that includes information recently released by the U.S. Department of Education regarding eligibility for the Federal CARES Act.
Complete this application and include supporting documentation
Approved students will receive a one-time allocation of emergency Federal CARES Act funds up to $3,000 or NSU COVID-19 Student Support Funds up to $500 based on the type(s) of need, supporting documentation, and availability of federal aid and NSU COVID-19 Student Support Fund donation levels.
